25 days ago I realised Mercury was turning Retrograde. So what does this new 'buz word' event even mean? Well I wasn't sure really but I had heard from a few different people that all sorts of crazy can occur when Mercury is Retrograding. From miscommunications (both externally and internally) to technology going haywire. So I decided to be prepared this time. I did a little astrology research and found out who the key players in this retrograde cycle were, and what part they had to play in it all. All astrological evidence pointed to this being a great time to do some major sorting and learning both on an internal level and a physical one as well. Nothing like a good detox to get things into perspective. I was on a mission to detox my mind, body and life. It was time to go within and clean up the clutter so I could find my focus and passion to live my life purpose.
I decided that to work through the barriers everyone told me Mercury would deliver at this time I would need to make a 25 day calendar to record my progress. My '25 ways in 25 days detox calendar'. If this retrograde time was going to deliver some fuzzy unclear, unfocused energy I was going to be ready for it!
How did my 25 day Mind, Body, Life detox go? Honestly I probably completed 10 days before the fuzzy took over and I lost focus. I actually didn't even think about it much after the 10 days at all. As much as I had planned to stay on top of reorganising and reflection I have to honestly say I just let the 'flow' run the show. I was well and truly going with the flow. Thoughts drifted, plans shifted, priorities sifted. Not a lot of anything got done. But I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Because the 10 days that I did focus helped me to reframe and refocus so many areas of my life.
Those 10 days created the most positive shift towards aligning me on my life path than any other day has done in a long while. It gave me a chance to have a focus. An opportunity to reframe my mindset. To let go of all the mindset crap I was holding onto about what's important and must be focused on. Subconsciously the order of focus on my list was prioritised. These were the things that my whole being wanted to work on and shift. Looking at it now, the things that mattered were in the top 10. The things that could be affected by my reframed mindset in one swift shift must have fallen of the wagon with the rest of my detox. But that doesn't matter. If it was loosing me and my focus how important was it to ME? How important was it for me to hold onto that thing, idea or belief? And was it even useful for my self or others for me to be hanging onto it? But what truly sealed the deal was the next 15 days of my detox that fell of the wagon, that got lost in the fuzzy. Those days created the space for flow and emptiness to linger and offer a still perspective. A void to feel my passions and purpose.
Bang. The realisation of energetic responsibility. I was participating in a personal internal cleansing, but in turn, a clearing of my unwanted and unnecessary mindset beliefs was released making me a more energetically responsible being.
You see, if you are not constantly clearing and shifting and growing aligned with your purpose, you are not allowing the intended flow of life to occur. You are doing an injustice to the world we live in. If your not taking energetic responsibility to clear away your blockages that create frustrations within you that you then release upon others, then your adding to the negative energy that is causing stagnation and slowed momentum here on earth.
So even if you can't commit 100% of your focus toward owning your mindset (seriously if you can I want to meet you), it's about creating space. Create time to switch off, allow yourself the time to get off the rat race and take a look around from a quiet, still perspective. This space creates opportunities to reshape your mindset. To rid your mind of negative self talk and fill that space with love and compassion. Love and compassion to fuel your passion and your purpose. If you can just catch yourself out when your allowing your mindset to dampen your passions and reframe that little voice inside to be a little more helpful and productive you will fall upon your purpose. So allow yourself to create the space to follow your passions for the greater good of the planet. Take one for the team! 25 days on I find my self here. Ready to take energetic responsibility for my passion and purpose. Taking one for the team.
